Obituary of Norah Coombs

Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Sunday September 16, 2012 at the age of 91, of Elim Homes, Waubaushene and formerly of Matchedash. Beloved wife of the late Joe Coombs (December 1997). Loved mother of Art Coombs (Dorothy), and Ernie Coombs. Will be remembered by her grandchildren Jim Coombs (Janet), Gail Canning (Lorne), John Coombs (Tracey), Sandra Hollman (Dan), and Jeanne Tucci, and by her 11 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren. Loving sister of Ron Kitchen. Predeceased by her son Dougie Coombs, her grandsons Rob Coombs and Dougie Coombs, her sisters Agnes Church & Lorna Cartmill, and by her brothers Bill Kitchen and Albert Kitchen. The family will honour her life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater from 2-4 & 7-9pm Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Matchedash on Thursday September 20th at 11am. Interment St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Norah may be made to St. John's Anglican Church, Matchedash.
