I was greatly saddened to recently hear of John's passing. John was a great man. For those who were fortunate to know John, I'm sure you would attest to his quiet strength. He will be missed.
Sending love and hugs to Jill and Peter.

We were so saddened to hear of the death of John. We send out our condolences to the whole family. In our last visit with John in mid January we were tickled to hear him talk about all the activities and groups he was involved in. It sounded like the only day he was available for us to visit him was on a Friday. How delightful to be so engaged with everyone even at this wonderful stage in life. You were living life fully, John. Over the years we have enjoyed your company, loved when you lived right next door, and celebrated all those special days together. LOVED all your stories. Will miss you. Margot and Cam

To Pam and family of John Wallinger:
We were very sorry to learn of the passing of John, a dear friend of ours for many years. There were happy times with Mary and John, as well as sharing many hours in pastoral care activities for the benefit of St. Paul's United Church. John worked diligently for many years as a greeter at Sunday services, and was a team leader in providing rides to and from church. He was a close personal friend and I had the pleasure of acting as his driver when he needed assistance. He had a fine sense of humour and keen business acumen. Blessings on you, John.

Thank you Wilma. Yes, they were both very involved with the Cancer Society as they both were diagnosed, mom many times. For many, many years it was their passion to help others fight the disease and they did what they could. They would both appreciate your kind words, as do we.
