I was just now looking up Don and Barb to see where they ended up after leaving Edmonton. So happy they returned to where Kristie loved most.
I am so, so sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. My deepest condolences to all the LaFrance and Kristie family. They were my best friends for so many years. Miss you both. Rest in peace Barb. You were one of the best people I’ve ever known after taking a chance on an 18 year old kid who showed up in a shirt and tie to attempt to rent an apartment. I’ll remember you both for ever, as will your God Daughter.

Annie and I extend our heartfelt condolences to Donald, Steven, Pat and Linda. We were both shocked and saddened over the sudden loss of Barbara since we had spent an entire fun-filled day with her and Donald boating on the Severn, swimming at the Big Chute and enjoying a barbeque on her deck just two days before her passing. We have so many warm memories of times we spent together at Collingwood, Tucson and at the Severn River. Barbara was such a kind, gentle and loving person who could never do enough for anyone and always did so without asking. Her love for Donald and Steven was obvious and always on display even when they didn't make it easy for her! We are so blessed to have had Barbara in our lives and her memory will reside with us as we mourn her passing and it comforts us to know that she is now in a peaceful place and free from the pain and suffering that she endured in her later years. Love, Allan and Annie

Barb, over the years there have been many fond memories that we have shared with you and Donald. Whether it was a motorhome trip from Edmonton to Vancouver Island or, in the middle of the night, chasing bats out of the livingroom at our old place on the Severn. You were always up for the adventure...and there were many adventures!!! We are thankful that we were able to spend the last few winters in Tucson and this past spring in Port Severn with you. We will love you forever and dearly miss you. Love Billy and Lesley❤

I’m so sad to hear this news.
I haven’t seen Barb since I was a teen.
My dad was Barb’s dad, Doug’s cousin (Earl and Jean Dumoulin)
We seemed to have lost contact when our parents passed away. I recently reconnected with Barb’s sister Linda and was hopeful to reconnect with Barb.
Time flies...
Sending deepest sympathies to all of Barb’s family.
Valerie Dumoulin (Russell Ontario)
