Obituary of John Orr

Died peacefully in his sleep at the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends, on Monday November 5, 2012 at the age of 82 of Coldwater. Predeceased by his wife E. Lorraine Orr (nee: Wassell). Survived by daughters Meredith Orr, Valerie Orr (Robert Neagle) and close friend Don Howell, and by his sisters Berniece Cooper, Sylvia Cole, Jean Orr, Barbara Cormack. Predeceased by his sisters and brothers Marion Barr, Gwen McEathron, Gilbert, Edgar, and Charlie. Will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. At his request his body has been donated to science. A celebration of John's life will be held and announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of John may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
