Anne was a bright light that brought so many of us tremendous joy, laughter and grace throughout her years of volunteering to play the piano at Barrie Manor Retirement Home. Her generosity, humour, talent, friendship, compassion and depth of feeling drew the community together for monthly sing-a-longs and hymn sings. Her music also added warmth and beauty to so many events and ceremonies. She was so enthusiastic about her music. She'd say "oh, yes, I guess I can play for the Remembrance Day ceremony. And can you get that pastor with the amazing voice? Now, I'll have to start practicing for that." The world is a little less bright in her absence but she has certainly left us with a wealth of memories. Dawna Proudman, former Activity Director, Barrie Manor Retirement Home.

What an incredible woman Anne was! About 25 years ago, when I was a single parent to 2 sweet little girls, both of my girls had the chicken pox at Christmas. Anne and Ruth arrived at my door with a delightful parcel for us - tree ornaments, a very special tea pot and some Christmas tea. The ornaments still hang on our tree each year and the teapot holds a special place in my kitchen and in my heart. It was a delight to sing with Anne, whose joy of the Lord was absolutely contagious.

Dear Harvey, sister Ruth and all who loved Anne: We were very sorry to read of Anne's passing and remember seeing her from time to time over these years as well as all our time at Westminster with you all.
