I had been looking for Neil since I had lost touch with him earlier this year, and I'm sad to say that I only just heard about him passing 12 hours too late to pay my respects, let alone share some time with him. We always had great moments in the shop. I would drop in whenever I was near for some of Neil's sparkling company and great wit. I've known Neil for 20 years, and considered him my friend for most of that time. I've missed him since I lost touch with him, he was a wonderful, warm person who I feel privileged to have been his friend and he mine. All of my best wishes and condolences to the family. Take care.

I will always appreciate Neil's kindness to me over 40 years in Rexdale. he was very patient when fitting my glasses. he was my first and only optician. I seen him 2 years ago for my glasses before he retired in 2010. he was good with my parents and seniors. god bless and keep his sole. for ever in my thoughts. Brian
