Obituary of Judy Ann Thurston (nee Olimer)
Passed away peacefully after a struggle with cancer at her home in Port Severn with her family at her side on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at the age of 74. Loved mother of Brenda Dicks (Phil Carrier) of Port McNicoll, Mark St. Jean of Fort McMurray, Alberta, and Matthew St. Jean of Port Severn. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Sarah (Tom), and Brady (Celine). Great Grandmother of Owen and Kayden. Dear sister of Lorne Olimer of Coldwater. A visitation to honour Judy’s life will be held at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Tuesday May 25th from 12:30-2:30pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance is limited to a specific number of people within the funeral home and must reserve a time by phoning the funeral home 705-686-3344 to secure a time slot for your visitation with the family. Due to the restrictions not all family members will be in attendance. Masks are always required inside the funeral home as well as outside of the funeral home. Screening, social distancing and proper disinfection are in place to ensure the safety of all attendees. Gathering on the funeral home grounds is not permitted. Following the visitation a private service will be held for the immediate family. Interment Waubaushene Protestant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Judy may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
