Obituary of Robert Dunlop

Passed away peacefully on December 30, 2012, with his family surrounding him, at Toronto General Hospital in his 66th year. Bob Dunlop of Forest Home, best friend and devoted husband of Ruth (nee Kitchen). Cherished Dad of Michael (Susan), Heather (Adam Hill) and Susan (Andrew Hill). Loved Grandpa and Poppa of Cameron and Garrett Dunlop and Lila Hill. Bob will be missed by his sister Betty (Terry Lye). Brother in law of Barry, Louise (Ron Goodchild), Mark (Darlene), Anita (Barry Swailes), Bonnie, Teresa (Andre Cadorette), Glenn (Diane) and Clifford (Cindy). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Kent and Margaret Dunlop. Son in law of the late Albert and Margaret Kitchen. Bob retired after working more than 30 years with the Simcoe County District School Board. His 10 years of retirement were spent as a volunteer driver with the Cancer Society and Helping Hands. Bob's love of music made him many friends in the music world. He will be dearly missed. The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. on Thursday January 3, 2013. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Coldwater on Friday January 4, 2013 at 1pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. George's Anglican Church Cemetery, Fairvalley or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
