Obituary of Charles Jackson "Charlie" Cook
Passed away at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Tuesday November 2, 2021 at the age of 88 of R.R. #3, Coldwater. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Ann (nee Fox). Survived by his sisters Robena and Lillian. Predeceased by his parents Hilton & Jeanette Cook, and by his sisters Muriel, Annie, Esther, and Violet. Will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Charlie lived and farmed all his life in Creighton.
The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and at St. George’s Anglican Church, Fairvalley on Friday November 5th from 1pm until the time of the service at 2pm. Interment adjoining cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Charlie may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church, Fairvalley, the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation “MRI” or to Mariposa House Hospice and may be made through the funeral home.
In accordance to directives put in place by provincial governing bodies, the Covid-19 protocols are being followed such as facial coverings, providing proof of double vaccination with ID, contact tracing and passive screening signage for guests to self-assess.
