Such a generous smile. Such quiet strength! Ray always seemed so solid — someone you could always depend on. I’m so happy that he is part of my best childhood memories. Lxxx

This man was the glue that held our family together through love of the outdoors and family reunions!! There are so many memories he helped create throughout my childhood, like picking us up on Friday to go to the cottage or just to his place in Brampton to spend the weekend together, the first fishing rod I ever had that he made from a stick with 2 screweyes and fishing line, or going to the sugarbush to make maple syrup, or playing cards on Saturday night with all the family, the list goes on and on. He was the greatest man that I had the pleasure of loving and calling gramps. He will be deeply missed. I dont think he realized just how much of an impact he made on all our lives and how much we all loved him. RIP Grampa

Our family always loved the family reunions at Ray's place. Always a fun time filled with great family and friends and of course the stories of days gone by. We also loved going to the 'Sugar Bush' and watching the maple syrup in the making. Our memories and pics will live on even though Ray is no longer with us. Rest in peace Ray.

My favourite memory of Ray was the first spring I meet him up North he says let’s go fishing for mud cats tonight. I say ok we load the boat on the truck he grabs a couple sticks with string tied to the end I grab my fishing rod and off we go I go what the heck with the sticks. Well I catch a mud cat and Ray all ready has five in the bucket with his stick and string setup. Well I then toss my rod aside and grab one of Rays sticks and I catch a lot more mud cats.
RIP Ray we will miss you. ❤️
