My first photographic instructor a very gentle and generous person. He knew how to keep us alert in class and try to control his assistant instructor a certain Mike at the same time. Never talked to much about your mistakes but he concentrated of you getting better. He was also a true comedian in front of the class with mimicks, theater personnages and even make costumes with simple piece of clothing or focussing clothe. On several occasion he would invite the class to his home. He said we were different from the others groups. We were indead all remusted and olders 6 women and 6 men half were english and the other half french. I remember a photo shoot in the park where Roger brooked a foot playing around with us. The next day a certain Jack replace him . Now with Jack and Mike it was quite diffderent. I'll never forget my basic photo course and specially Roger mon ami...
