CELEBRATION of LIFE
Obituary of Donna Lee Sallows (nee Lovering)
Passed away at Trillium Manor, Orillia on Thursday June 23, 2022 at the age of 66yrs. Loving mother to Carrie MacEwen (Richard), Scott Sallows (Sarah), and Amy Angliss (Joe). Proud grandmother of Hannah, Olivia, Andrew, Avery, Brayden, Grace, Sophia, Abbi, Owen, and Jaxon. Dear sister of Glenna Tinney (Mike), Marina Lovering, and Darren Lovering (Angelina). Will be lovingly remembered by Danny Sallows.
Donna was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, Nurse and an educator. Many who knew her know how much she loved her job as a Nurse. She had the most impeccable work ethic, and made sure we all learned from her the importance of hard work and commitment. She was also known for her fierce sense of humour, always coming out with something that would leave you shaking your head, and put a smile on your face. She was also a fighter, so when she was dealt with illness at the age of 40 she fought that with the same tenacity. Over the past few years things had become more of a challenge and she adjusted her sails and took each day as they came.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of Donna's life will be held at Golf Bonaire, Coldwater on Sunday September 18th from 1-4pm.
As an expression of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Mental Health Association and may be made through the funeral home.
