Obituary of Harold Henry Prince

Passed away suddenly at the Uxbridge Hospital on Friday September 16, 2022 at the age of 58yrs.  Cherished partner of Cathy Van Valkenburg.  Loved father of Gavin Prince (Taylor).  Dear brother of Bonnie Simcoe, Darrell Prince (Heather), and Allan Prince (Shelley).  Survived by his in-laws Bill & Helen Van Valkenburg, his sister-in-law Cindy Van Valkenburg and by his brother-in-law Billy Van Valkenburg.  Will be greatly missed by his best friend Dan McIntyre (Dorothy).  Predeceased by his parents Nora & Donald Prince and by Donny Bremner who Harold treated as a second son.

Harold loved his passion for trains, classic cars, motorcycles, atving, campfires and being the “Life of the Party”.

Cathy and Gavin wish to express their sincere appreciation Dr. Phyllis Billia and staff at the Toronto General Hospital “Cardiac Care Unit” for their care and support given to Harold.

A celebration to honour his life will be held at the family residence on Saturday September 16, 2023 from 3pm. 

As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Harold may be made to the Toronto General Hospital “Cardiac Care Unit”, to Diabetes Canada or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and may be made through the funeral home.
