Obituary of Lois Doreen Thornton

Passed away peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Thursday November 10, 2022 at the age of 87, formerly of Waubaushene. Beloved wife of the late James Thornton (July 1997). Loved mother of Donna Hurst (Collin) of Moonstone, Greg Thornton (Susan) of Waubaushene, Scott Thornton (Francis) of Tiny, and the late Shelly Thornton (September 2011). Loving grandmother of Ryan (Shelby), Jenna (Shane), Kyla (Curtis), Melanie (Kevin), Carly (Trevor), Nicole (Brandon), Rylee (James), Curtis (Sarah), and Melissa. Great grandmother of Elouise, Taylor, Kohen, Emerson, Dylan, John, and Abigail. Great great grandmother of Jase and Torrin. Following cremation, a private family service for Lois will be held. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Lois may be made to the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland and may be made through the funeral home.
