A GATHERING TO HONOUR ED
Obituary of Edward Thomas "Ed" Doyle
Passed away suddenly after a recently diagnosed illness at his home on Irish Line, Coldwater on Thursday, November 10, 2022, just shy of his 71st birthday.
Ed worked side by side for many years with his parents Charles and Ida Doyle (predeceased) on the family dairy farm started by Charles and continued shipping milk until a few years ago when he sold the cows and cut down his farm workload considerably.
He was a kind, generous and loving man who was loved by his siblings Ron (Linda), Mary Silk (David), and Cathy Daley (Stewart); adored uncle of Tracy, Lisa, Sheri, Aaron, Andrew, Sean, and Michelle; and loving great uncle of Kyle, Blake, Justin, Bobbi-Jo, Curtis, Jacklyn, and Ella. Ed treasured and valued his many friends.
A gathering to honour Ed will be held at Matchedash Community Heritage Centre, 1727 Quarry Road, Severn (Corner of Quarry Rd & North River Rd, off Upper Big Chute Rd.) on Saturday May 13, 2023 from 1 to 3 p.m. Internment of his ashes will follow.
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Ed may be made to Matchedash Community Heritage Centre, Canadian Lung Association or to the charity of your choice and may be made through funeral home.
