Passed away suddenly at his home in Barrie on Thursday December 15, 2022 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia (March 2020). Loved father of Catherine Mortimer of Gravenhurst, and Kenneth Rentner of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Rachael and Ian. Dear brother of Helen Smith of Mississauga. Beloved uncle of Doug, David, and Paul. Will be missed by his extended family and friends.
Lloyd requested cremation. A graveside service at Barrie Union Cemetery and a celebration of his life will be held in the Summer of 2023 and will be announced.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Lloyd may be made to the CNIB and may be made through the funeral home.
