Fond memories of our good friend Bill, especially as King of the Saturday Garage Sales with his friend Kevin. Carolyn enjoyed sitting on the cottage porch with Bill to listen to him talk about how much he loved the cottage and his daughters. Carolyn remembers Bill as the Bargain King , always able to get anything at a bargain price. We were always appreciative of the help that the Margaret and Bill gave us. We will miss him, but fond memories of him will remain in our hearts

Bill, I know we did not spend a lot of time together while you were with us but i really enjoyed spending a few hours together every year at the family picnic. I did not know about your Barrett Jackson wish but there are probably some cool machines where you are now. Rest in peace you have certainly earned that and if a 1968 440 Charger comes up for sale let me know.
Love,
Peter Hamilton

We were so sad hearing of Bill’s passing and send warm hugs to you Marg and the family. I have so many good memories of going out every Saturday with Bill, who shared my love of garage sales. He was such a good friend when we first arrived at Maple Leaf and very generous with his time and knowledge to help us feel at home. He will be missed terribly, but will always be in our hearts.

"The Bill" will truly be missed especially when we were in Florida. We had the best time talking about current events and having fun together. We talked about cars and all the fun things that were going on in the neighborhood.
So many fond memories of both over the many years.
Abbe's donuts will never be the same without him.
Love to "The Marg" and the family. We shall see you soon.

So many memories of Uncle Bill at the cottage in Waubaushene. I met him and Aunt Marg when I was only 15 years old. From the very start, they made me feel like Family. Their girls were like Sisters to me, and we had some amazing times together. Uncle Bill was always funny and super kind to me and I couldn’t believe it when he allowed his Nephew Jeff and I, take his boat out for a cruise. That trust was never forgotten and meant so much. We played cards, sat by the fire, ate pie and shared stories, The Hamilton Family were a huge part of my life, I loved them all, they were all very sweet to me, and I will never forget Uncle Bill’s sense of humour , laugh or his hospitality. I will miss him very much. Thanks for the memories Uncle Bill, Love Barbie

We lost a dear friend last week. A sad time for us. Bill you were always making us laugh with your corny jokes and ditties, you always seemed to know everything about everything and we accepted that without any sass back because more often than not you were right. Of course we will miss him, but rest assured we will all be together again in due time. Goodbye Billy boy. John and Joanne.

Bill was exceptional in helping others.
I first remember him staying late and coming early to the Tuesday bridge club. He was helping setting up tables and chairs even though it was clear he was in pain. We had lots of fun especially him bidding the "Hamilton" convention. Lets just say it's an unconventional convention.
We bonded on our infrequent flea market/garage sale journeys.
At bocce his "monkey see - monkey do" is still good advice.
Our prrayers are with you.

The Hamilton name is synonymous with Bay Way and many of my childhood memories.
Bill Hamilton makes me smile as I remember his quirky lovable ways. I remember corn roasts that I am sure wouldn’t have happened without help from you. I remember your horn and shouts of, Arrrgooos”. I can’t pass a garage sale without thinking of you. I remember the joy you exuded at the birth of your first grandchild when you found us at the end of the point to share the great news. I remember your 50th wedding anniversary party and the kind words spoken by Kristine that exemplifies the love your children have for you. More recently, I remember how excited you were to get your sporty little car.
Gentle days spent on your cottage porch sharing gossip and jokes will be missed, but still I remember and I smile.
Condolences to you Marg and your girls.
Love

It was with much sadness when we learned of the passing of our very good friend , Bill. Dorothy and I first met Bill and Marg some 40 years ago ( at a Hockey Draft party no less ) . This social group convened four times a year for some 20 years to draft teams, improve rosters , pick playoff players and finally pool prize pay day . Many fun memories
flow from these " sessions" . For several years , annually , we attended together greyhound racing in Sarasota during our respective seasonal stays in
Florida.
There are many memories of other get togethers over the years. Bill , dear friend , we will very much miss your humor , our conversations and exchange of views over the years . Finally , Dorothy and I will
forever remember the good time we shared
together the day we attended the Maple Leaf Village Strawberry Festival during March this year .
Little did we know that it would be our last time to
enjoy your company .
Rest in Peace, Bill , dear friend !
