Obituary of Mark Ryan Devine

DEVINE:  Mark Ryan

of Orillia, Ontario, passed away tragically with his family at his side at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at the age of 43.  Cherished and loving son of Raymonde & John Devine.  Loved twin brother of Michael and brother of Lawrence (Shannon).  Cherished uncle of Hailey and Maggie Devine.  He will be fondly missed by aunts, uncles and cousins of the Devine and Deschambault Family. Predeceased by grandparents Lawrence & Rachel Devine and Ben & Fleurette Deschambault.

A special thanks to the Carpino Family, Aunt Phyllis Devine, Suzanne Clarke, and dear friend Shawn Yakeley for being there in his final hours.  A special thanks to Dr Cuthbertson and his team at the Sunnybrook Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit for their compassion and support shown to Mark and his family.

Mark was always known to be a very giving person and gave the ultimate gift to those in need by donating organs and within hours of his passing we received news that he had saved 3 lives and gave someone the gift of sight.…. Mark is the ultimate hero!!

A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at the Northbrook Farm Event Centre (3952 Fairgrounds Road, Severn) on Sunday July 9^th from 3pm to 6pm.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Mark may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children “Cardiac Care Unit” through the Coldwater Funeral Home or PLEASE consider becoming an organ donor.
