Obituary of Margaret Anne Chisholm George

Passed away peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Friday August 25, 2023, at the age of 87.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Richard (July 1993).  Loving mother of Mary Priest (Alan) and Charles George.  Loved granny of Brian and Daniel.  Predeceased by her son-in-law Joey Briones and by her sister Eleanor Merry. 

Margaret loved living at her home which she and Richard built together, she had a great passion for gardening and her dogs.  Margaret was very active in her community, especially as a 50 year plus volunteer for Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care, a founding member of the Serenata Choir, Midland and an avid bridge player. 

A service of remembrance will be held at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, 22 Sturgeon Bay Road, Coldwater, on Thursday August 31^st at 2pm.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and may be made through the funeral home.
