Obituary of Dr. Michael Lee Francis

It is with a saddened heart that we inform you of the peaceful passing of Dr. Michael Lee Francis on Friday September 22, 2023. 

Beloved son of Robert J. Francis and Joan Ellen Francis (Hamilton) of Owen Sound.  Survived by Ann Cooper of Orillia, by his siblings, John Francis of Owen Sound, Paul and Joanne Francis of Toronto, Susan Francis (deceased) and Udo Kerschl of Newmarket, Peter and Peggy Francis of London, and Cathy and Mike Lynch also of London, and as well as many nephews and nieces. 

Michael practiced family medicine in Orillia with a focus on the community for 30 years.  A collector of antique cars, Mike was renowned for his knowledge and judging acumen.  The love of cars was only surpassed by love of his nieces, great nieces and nephews and great nephews. 

He will be missed by his family and the patients whose lives he touched.
