Obituary of Robert Francis "Bob" Balkwill

Passed away peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Saturday November 4, 2023 at the age of 86.  Beloved husband of Donna Balkwill (nee Silk).  Loved father of Rhonda Elliott (Kevin), and Rob Balkwill (Candy).  Loving grandfather of Amber, Natalie, Sara, and Nathan.  Dear brother of Betty Jorgenson, Marilyn Paine, Walter Balkwill, and Elaine Hanson.  Predeceased by his parents William & Velma Balkwill, and by his siblings Shirley Hardy, Art Balkwill, Bev Balkwill, Don Balkwill, and Merna Stagg. 

The family will honour Bob’s life at the Matchedash Community Heritage Centre, 1727 Quarry Road, Coldwater on Saturday November 18^th from 1-3pm.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Mariposa House Hospice, Severn or to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County and may be made through the funeral home.
