Obituary of Joan Marie Sallows

Passed away at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Tuesday November 14, 2023 in her 85^th year of Coldwater.  Beloved wife of the late Clarence Sallows (May 1994).  Loved mother of Paul Sallows (Karen), Jennifer Coombs (late Rick, July 2023), Jason Sallows (Gabriel), and the late Cindy O’Connor (December 2021).  Survived by her son-in-law Jim O’Connor.  Loving grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Carol Tudhope and Marjorie Peterson.  Predeceased by her sisters Lorraine Huffman and Rita Bates.  Will be missed by her companion Steve Huffman. 

The family will honour Joan’s life with a visitation at the Coldwater United Church on Saturday November 25^th from 12noon until the time of service at 1pm.  Interment Coldwater Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada and can be made through the funeral home.
