Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Barrie Manor on Wednesday December 6, 2023 at the age of 99yrs.  Beloved wife of the late Hugh Eakin (August 2004). Loved mother of Dorothy Collins, Helen Amey (Bruce) and Elizabeth Eakin.  Loving grandmother of Tracey, Shannon, Colin, and Lindsey.  Great grandmother of Ashley, Max, Hannah, Charlotte, Arlo, and Lola.  Dear sister of Florence Long of Australia. 

The family will honour Winnie’s life with a visitation at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 170 Steel Street, Barrie on Sunday December 10th from 2pm until time of service at 3pm.  Spring interment Barrie Union Cemetery.  Immediately following the service a reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Winnie may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church and may be made through the funeral home.
