Many good memories of Bernice, her friendliness, & welcoming manner. In my memory she always had a piece of homemade pie to go with a chat & tea or coffee when ever we visited--- 2 cousins recalling playing in the barn or watching storms roll in to rain on the roof, Cecil's memories , he shared with me. Rodney, Sherrill, Carley and family: I'm sorry for your loss. Everyone, including Bernice was so kind to me when I was in the area. Bernice shared some early pictures of the Johnstone family with me and I have them still today. She helped me to understand a lot about the family. Bernice was a special cousin to my Dad, Cecil, and they had great fun at the reunions. I will make a donation to Carley Schoolhouse in her memory. Sincerely, Clayton Johnstone
