Obituary of Eileen P. Snider (nee Pheasant)

Passed away at Georgian Manor, Penetanguishene on Wednesday September 11, 2024 at the age of 92 of Port Severn.  Predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Stanley (May 2019).  Loved mother of Lee Kors (Ralph) and Bill Snider (Jill).  Loving grandmother of Devon and Nolan.  Will be fondly remembered and missed by the Mercer and White families and by the family of Elise Douville.  

Eileen was a longtime resident of Coldwater and Port Severn, a retired tailoring instructor, an avid seamstress and doll collector.  Will also be fondly remembered as the River Goddess for her daily swims in Little Lake and Gloucester Pool. 

Following cremation, a celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at the Rawley Resort, 2900 Kellys Road, Port Severn on Sunday October 27^th from 1-4pm, with the family sharing their eulogy at 2:30pm.  

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Eileen may be made to the Coldwater United Church or to the O.S.P.C.A. “Midland Branch” and may be made through the Funeral Home.
