Passed away suddenly at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Wednesday September 25, 2024 in his 78th year of R.R. #4, Coldwater.  Beloved husband of the late Marilyn Thornborrow (November 2023).  Loved father of Rob Payton-Stewart (Ana Maria) and the late Alison Payton-Stewart (July 2022).  Loving grandfather of Sebastian Martinez, Ana Martinez, Nicole Payton-Stewart, and Alice Payton-Stewart. Predeceased by his granddaughter Mackenzie Payton-Stewart.

Tom has requested cremation and there will be no visitation or service.  A private family graveside service and will be held at Coldwater Cemetery at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Tom may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and can be made through the Funeral Home.
