To Alf, our long time friend. We were saddened when we heard about your sudden passing. We fondly remember many holidays and weekends during the 60's and 70's when long winter days were spent with you, Shirley, and the O'Connors skidooing up at Ardbeg and Coldwater. Our many parties and dances were always fun times. As often as we love to reminisce, we also know that time has a way of slipping away on us. Until we meet again and can renew those times, God Bless. Dear Alfie, You have been a mainstay in my life. You were a close connection to my mother. You were a forever friend. You could always be counted on to be there whenever needed. I enjoyed our drives to Gravenhurst and Bracebridge to visit Stephen with our stop for coffee part way at Tim Horton's. I could always count on you accepting a late date for lunch. Even though I would do the inviting you always did the paying. Thank you. Alfie, this annual trip that Tom and I make every year will stand out in my mind as the most memorable.
