Obituary of Alfred O'Connor

Passed away suddenly at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta on Monday June 24, 2013, at the age of 84 of Coldwater . Predeceased by his wife Shirley (nee: Ingram) and by his son Stephen. Dear brother of Stanley (Norma) and Roger. Stepfather of Jim & Cathy Swartz. Loved papa of Courtlandt and Alexandria. Will be missed by his sister-in-law Ruth, by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Predeceased by his sisters Helen, and Vera, and by his brother Warren. The family will honour his life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, 22 Sturgeon Bay Road, Coldwater (705-686-3344 or 1-888-645-5485) on Tuesday from 6-9pm and at the Coldwater United Church (corner of Harriet & Craddock Streets) on Wednesday July 3rd from 12noon until the time of service at 1pm. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Alfie may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society "Volunteer Driver Program".
