I can honestly say that Iris was one of the finest people I have ever met. I worked with Iris at the Health Unit in Midland and found her to be an incredible person.She was probably the best secretary in Midland at that time. Rest in peace dear Iris.

Mr. Hanmore and family, It is with regret that I just learned of the passing of Iris as I tidied up old newspapers. Iris was the secretary on duty for the Simcoe County Health Dept. when I first came to work for the VON out of the Midland office back in 1974. Iris was such a pleasant lady and helped me get acquainted to the office and life in the Midland area. A few years after that my husband and I purchased some goats from you when we were just starting to build up our farming business. It was also with surprise that I learned you and Iris were residents of the King Place where my husband's uncle and aunt are residing and I recognized and spoke to her there last fall.Our deepest sympathy in her passing.

Fred & boys. We were so sorry to hear of Iris's passing. We will miss her very much as we know you will also. She was a great lady & having known her since I (Jane) was a teenager can say it was an honour to work,play,sing & worship with her. Our sincere sympathy to you all & hope to see you soon!
