Following cremation a service of remembrance will be held at the Coldwater United Church on Friday April 22nd at 1pm.

RECEPTION

immediately following the service a reception will be held in the church hall.

Passed away peacefully at Trillium Manor, Orillia on Wednesday April 13, 2016 at the age of 95, formerly of Coldwater. Beloved wife of the late Orla Bannerman and the late Fred Burnie. Loving mother of Joan Gilbank of Arizona, Betty-Anne Burnie (Marg) of Coldwater, and Nadine Kingsborough of Orillia. Predeceased by her daughter Donna Dimaline (Bob), by her son John Bannerman, and by her son-in-law Don Gilbank. Dearly loved by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bessie Sallows. Predeceased by her sister Dorothy Sallows, and by her brothers Tom Kitchen, Joe Kitchen, Edward Kitchen, and Donald Kitchen. Following cremation, a service of remembrance will be held at the Coldwater United Church, Coldwater on Friday April 22nd at 1pm. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Irene may be made to the Coldwater United Church or to the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland and may be made through COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater (705-686-3344).
