Dear Marilyn, Lynn, Kelly and Suzanne,
I am so very, very sorry and sad to hear of Charles' passing. He was such a sweet and gentle man. I had the best view watching him diligently shoveling his driveway of snow. He had his own particular routine - I will miss him.
My love and thoughts are with all of you at this very sad time.

In reading the Saturday Star today I noticed the obituary for Charles.
I worked with Charles as a new manager in the 70s, at the Bell Canada, Shaw Street Workcenter. I was a young, new manager at the time and Charles immediately took me under his wing as a fellow colleague. In the limited time that I spent in the group, I remember Charles with the deep voice and high quality of work that he helped instill in me.
He also had a funny side, using silly expressions such as "Great Horny Toads" and "Shaggadelic". Long before Austin Powers I might add!
Charles is no doubt looking down on all of us now and saying "I had a good round didn't I? using an old golf metaphor.

So very sorry for your loss. I have worked at Bonaire since 1999. Charles was our first golfer out every morning. He always had a good morning for us and his special candies. I miss him out there.
