Obituary of Charles Ronald Argyle Eplett
Please share a memory of Charles to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Peacefully, after suffering a stroke, at Hospice Simcoe with his wife of 57 years, Marilyn, and his daughters Lynn (George), Kelly (Rob) and Suzanne (Pat) by his side. Idolized by his grandchildren Charlie, Cooper, Cuyler, Dylan, Heather, Katy, Liam, Mat, Michael and Riley for his zest for life. Dad was proud to have spent his entire career at Bell Canada, taking early retirement to enjoy his life to the fullest. Moving back to his childhood home of Coldwater, he started his summer days with the first tee time at Bonaire Golf Course. Briskly walking the fairways he logged more than 100 rounds each season. Even through the hottest days of the summer he insisted he needed neither sun screen nor water. During the winter months, his focus turned to curling and hand shovelling a very large driveway (no gloves required!), taking great pride in having a snowflake-free surface. The Raptors and Jays have lost their number one cheerleader, as have we. In lieu of visitation and a service please feel free to send the girls your favourite memories of Charles. If desired, donations to Hospice Simcoe, the Hospital for Sick Kids or Autism Ontario would be appreciated.
