Obituary of Marie Barbara VanderGeest

Passed away at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, Uxbridge on Monday November 28, 2016, at the age of 92 formerly of Coldwater. Beloved wife of the late Cornelius “Cor” (October 2010). Loved mother of Patrick & his wife Tess of Beaverton (Stuart [Nicole], Kevin [Nicole], and Leslie [Alex]), Marion & her husband Ted Meyers of Uxbridge, (Ashley [Nathan], and Katelyn [Julien]), Michael & his wife Kathy of Coldwater (Mark [Elena], and Michelle [Reid]), Paul & his wife Karen of Shanty Bay (Jessica, and Corey [Abbey]), and Barbara & her husband Barry Hackner of Sandford (Joel, Scott and Derek). Dear grandmother of 5 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her large extended family in Holland. The family will honour her life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Warminster on Friday December 2nd at 10am. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Orillia. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Marie may be made to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, and may be made through the funeral home.
