Dear Donna,
I am so sorry for your loss which has come much too soon. I have not had contact with you for many ,many years although I encountered you ( still the same ) at the Terry Fox Run and I spoke with Bill regarding some horses for the Orillia Heritage Group . It was a very relaxed and informative chat ,that worked out well for us. He was saying that he hadn't been well but was hoping her would be out about soon. I hope he had those good days. He was a terrific fellow with as the English say ( he had no side) although all the young girls had a first crush on Bill
Your wonderful romance and friendship and family were inspirations. I hope that your friendships made in our beautiful area, Orillia, Medonte and Coldwater will be comfort to you .
A group of Orillia friends get together and if you would be interested in branching out and meeting up some time ( we are planning local tea or lunch dates ) for just this purpose please get in touch any time. Gail Spencer, Kim Carter, Maureen Blake, and Bev Carins.
I will be thinking of you and the family at this very difficult time

It is with great sadness to learn the passing of Bill. We only met a few years back but we connected right off the get go. The last few months of Bills life I had the opportunity to visit with Bill at breakfast with long time friend Pat Crowe and his brother Gerald and business partner Linda Rumney and really enjoyed those few times. I always looked forward to Bill and Gerald, Pat, and Linda showing up at our farm to train down a couple of trotters they raced. My only regret was I never got to meet Bill earlier in life as I know we would have been long time friends. I'll miss you Bill. God be with you Donna and rest in peace Bill. It was good people like Bill Walters that make the world a better place.
