Obituary of William "Bill" Walters
Passed away at his home, after a brave fight with cancer with his family at his side on Monday December 4, 2017 at the age of 71, of Oro-Medonte. Beloved husband of Donna (nee: Hunter) for 48 years. Loved father of Tara Brown (Josh) of Sugar Bush, and Josh Walters (Kelly Simpson) of Severn. Loving grandfather of Ben and Klein. Dear brother of Gerald Walters of Coldwater, Phyllis Kehoe (Bob) of Orillia, and Betty Hurley of North Bay. Brother-in-law of Donna Walters of Kitchener. Predeceased by his brother Elroy of Kitchener and sister-in-law Olive of Coldwater. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Doctors Kapeluto, Yu, and Cambridge, the Oncology Team at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, and the Nurses of Bayshore Home Health for the care and support shown to Bill. Following cremation a celebration of Bill’s life will be held at Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club, 1151 Hurlwood Lane, Orillia, on Sunday December 17th from 1-4pm. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Oncology Department of Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and may be made during the celebration of life or through the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater, (705) 686-3344.
