Obituary of Barry Edward Smith
Passed away at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Tuesday January 30, 2018 at the age of 74, of Stoney Creek and formerly of Barrie. Loved father of Deb McMaster, Susan Parker, Stephanie Ramsay, Tyler Smith, and Katie MacKenzie (Scott). Loving grandfather of Evan, Lauren, Grace, Gavin, and Jack. Dear brother of Lloyd Smith (Monica) and Debbie Pain (Steve). Will be missed by his dear friend Sheri Smith, his nieces & nephews and by his many friends. Barry was a former volunteer with the Richvale Fire Hall, retired with over 30 years of service with the Vaughan Fire Department, a faithful employee of Wilf and Bob Scott of Scott Funeral Home, Woodbridge and also of Scott Funeral Home, Barrie, and a devoted member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Innisfil. Following cremation the family will honour his life with a visitation at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Innisfil on Thursday February 8th from 11am until the service of remembrance at 12noon. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Barry may be made to Camp Bucko or to the Canadian Cancer Society and may be made through the funeral home.
