Passed away peacefully on Thursday July 12, 2018 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland at age of 88 of Midland, and formerly of Six Mile Lake and Toronto.  Beloved husband of Edna.  Loved father of Douglas Spence (Krista) of Newmarket, Rob Spence (Nadine) of Belleville, and Karen Spence (Joe Stark) of Scarborough.  Loving grandfather of Shannon, Halden, Cullen, Kevin (Erika), and Eric (Megan).  Dear brother of Betty, Roy, Bill, Pat, Mary, and the late Ross.  Stu will be sadly missed by his family, nieces, nephews, friends and the gang at the KOA in St. Pete’s, Florida.  Stuart was a retired employee of Bell Canada.  The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Georgian Bay General Hospital, The Villa and Lakeridge for their care and support.  As per Stuart’s request there will be no visitation or service.  Cremation has occurred.    As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Stuart may be made to the charity of your choice and may be made through the funeral home.
