Obituary of Irene Edith May Rice

Passed away peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Monday September 30, 2019 at the age of 89, formerly of Coldwater.  Beloved wife of the Late Bob Rice (August 2019).  Survived by her children Jim (Denise), David (Susan) and Glen (Pat), and by her stepchildren John (Joan) and Ken (Daphne).  Grandmother of Christopher, Jaimie-Lea, Brandon, Paul, and Yenie.  Great grandmother of Avery, Adalyn, and Logan.  Sister of Patricia and Arlene.  Irene was a long time member of the Coldwater Legion.  Following cremation, the family will honour her life with a visitation at the Coldwater Legion, Coldwater on Monday October 7^th from 1pm until the time of service at 1:30pm.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Irene may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #270, Coldwater  “Poppy Fund” and may be made through the funeral home.
