Bill was a true gentleman. Whether hauling and dumping aggregates or just spending time chatting, he always had a smile and a kind word to say. We bought our golf cart from him at Hidden Glen Park and i think of him whenever we are in it.
Our thoughts are with Gail and all his family as they journey through this very upsetting time. May the good memories come to you and help you as you travel this road. May he rest in peace.

What an outstanding individual
Bill was our go to guy for the road association on 6 mile lake for over 25 years
He anticipated our needs and was always there when we needed him ,a fair and honest business man.
But more important a gentleman and just a nice guy to be with
If the measure of a man is the impression he leaves on others then Bill’s family should be justly proud..
Bill thanks for sharing your life with us

Bill was as good as they come. I met him through my father Bill & mother Delora Partington when I was in my early 20’s. Now in my 50’s I feel as much of his kindness of soul as the day we first met and I am grateful that our paths crossed many times over the years.
From all the Partington’s (on Six Mike Lake) we are happy he came into our lives and we’ll miss Bill.

Words can not express how special Bill was.
He loved Bonnie and Peter with all his being, and his grandchild
Dillon ,Tayler and Parker and Max also.
My favourite memory of Bill is very hard because there is so many.
The best one is when he would take Bonnie and I for a ride in the goat mobile to camp David.
Bill go rest high on that mountain ,your work on earth is done,
Go to heaven a shoutin.

Rod & I are at a loss for words with the passing of our good friend Bill. We have the fondest memories of the stories that Bill would like to tell in only the way Bill could tell them especially about his beloved chickens that still make us laugh even now. He was a true gentleman, with a kind heart, and an indomitable spirit. I enjoyed working along side with him over the years as he helped with many building projects, he was a great teacher and possessed a wealth of knowledge. Rod & I will never forget the expressions and expletives on his face as he was trying to teach me how to use his heavy equipment, we had many good laughs and oops moments! He will truly be missed, the world has lost a great man. Our hearts and prayers go out to Gail and his family.

Gail, Bonnie & Peter and families:
I am so sorry to see this. Bill was a pretty special guy. I ran into him in early March at the Beacon in Port Severn. He had stopped to get a coffee. We sat down and had a visit that lasted an hour and it covered a lot of ground. It was probably the most serious talk we ever had. When I was young and cooked at the restaurant he kept us in stitches, he was great for giving dating advice and he taught us how to be parents as he brought Bonnie and Peter for breakfast before horseback riding lessons and hours at the shop playing on the golf cart while he polished equipment! We will miss you Bill! Our condolences to all. Marvin & Stephanie Moreau

Bonnie and Peter: Sandy and I send our sincere condolences to you and your families. We got to meet you all through the short time our lives connected with the Mighty 8 hockey team. So many good and healthy laughs with Bill. I recall when I was quitting smoking and pretty grumpy and I said some things I should not have said to the referee and I went to get on the bus and Bill pulled the door shut and said I could not get on. Of course I said you best not be on there when I do. All in fun and we all got along so well. Remember letting you all off on the highway and you lived down the bank when we would be on our way home from some hockey town. RIP Bill and we thank you for being part of special memories. Sending love.
