My sincere condolences to the family of Jean & Bert Dobson. My Mother "Dot" Mona Hill married to Phonse Hill " of Hill's Lunch Room on Colborne St was Jean's best friend when Jean & Bert lived on Nottawasaga Street in Orillia in the 1940's in that grey two storey house. by Victoria Park. Jean took my-self and my sister Noreen in and looked after us during my mother's sickness when my mother recovered our family visited her Bert often. I remember as a kid visiting with my parents on their farm near Cold Water. Bert said to me "Do you know that you can boil eggs in Coldwater." Jean & Bert were such a caring couple.
