My condolences to Dale and family. John left us too soon. He was always a beacon of light on my trips to Bolger. Although few and far between, our talks, and the occasional brew, were always enjoyable as were the occasional deer steak meals. So glad to have had the opportunity to meet him through Wendy. He will be missed. Take care.

Having been John's neighbour for the past 15 years, I can honestly say he was the most humble, kind and generous person. Always helping me out any way he could and often reminded me of my own dad. My heart is sad and I will miss him dearly. My deepest and sincerest condolences to Dale, Matt and Shannon and family. May your memories help you through tough times. ~Carol Jeannotte

We're still in shock over the passing of our favorite Johnny Love, (this nickname started from when John attended weddings he would always get all lovey dovey, with Dale). John always greeted everyone with a warm welcome at his home and cottage. Even though I knew zero about hunting or fishing he would gladly explain the process to me. On occasion John would take me fishing or tracking of deer for the upcoming deer hunt. I still laugh about the time I went fishing with John, during that time I messed up my fishing line and John just gave me a look of "YOU CITYIT", your wasting good fishing time. That was John to a T. Meals at John and Dales were always some type of meat or fish out of their freezer from previous outings, always delicious. I have fond memories of working with John in his shop fixing something old and bringing it back to life, just like his old Ski Doo or the raising of Shannons horse palace to sit up on stilts while working in the dark. Our Deepest Condolences go out to John's siblings and family, you know how much all the Fords love you guys. John may you spend the rest of your days with perfect fishing conditions without ever getting a snag. Gone but never forgotten our JOHNNY LOVE.
