RECEPTION
Obituary of Marlee Gertrude Anne Kennedy
With great sadness, our beloved Mom, Marlee, gently passed with family holding her hand.
Marlee is predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Norman. She will be deeply missed by her children, whom she was so proud of, Jeff (Joan), David (Thelma), Kim (predeceased by Greg in 2012), Erin (Stephen). Beloved grandmother to Aidan, Grace, Nicole (Tyler), Brandon (Amy), Earl (Alethea), Carly (Brandon), Candice (Troy) and Holly (Brook). Precious great grandma to Isaiah, Thatcher, Sofia, Olivia and Liliana.
Marlee will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her graciousness, her optimism and her love of cats. Marlee lived life to the fullest, always ready for a good laugh or a hug. She loved entertaining and spending time with family and friends, a kind and beautiful soul. Mom, we know that you are at peace with Dad. You will never be forgotten and you will always be loved.
Following cremation, a service to celebrate Marlee’s life will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Barrie (Yonge Street and Mapleview Drive, East) on Monday November 7th at 11am.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Marlee may be made to the Barrie O.S.P.C.A. and may be made through funeral home
