Obituary of Lois Ada Norris
Peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Monday November 21, 2022 at the tender age of 97. Much loved mother of Don & Kim, Barry & Holly, and Ken & Bonnie. Beloved grandma of Laurie & Kyle, Todd & Shawna, Joel & Nickie, Kyla & Deric, and Alanna. Special GG to Callan, Olivia, and Tucker. Predeceased by husband Warren Rodney (Rocky) 2002, parents Adam Murray & Lena (Niven) Boles, siblings Cliff & Lucille, Helen & Gordon Aird, Lloyd & Betty, Rita & Jim Thompson, Doug & May, and Orville & Laura. Loved sister-in-law of Renée (Norris) Middleton. Predeceased by father and mother-in-law Percy & Edna, in-law siblings Marjorie & Ernie Subden, Isobel & John Dodd, John & Vi, Joy & Bruce Fowler, Bob Middleton, and Carole Parkes. Aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Longtime resident of St. Catharines, Leaside and Waubaushene.
Former Leaside Baseball Assoc. volunteer, 25+ year and honourary life member of GBGH Volunteers, avid bridge player, bowler, sports fan, babysitter and volunteer extraordinaire who especially loved watching her grandkids' sporting events. Lois is now cheering and coaching her beloved Argos, Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Raptors without having to change the channel.
Cremation. Celebration of life to be held in spring 2023. Memorial donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the funeral home.
