Obituary of Edwin Joseph "Ed" Bourque
Passed away at his son's home in Coldwater with family at his side on Monday December 26, 2022 at the age of 85, of R.R. #1, Coldwater. Beloved husband of Sharon. Loved father of Brian (Rose) of Coldwater, Nancy Wice (Brian) of Caledon, and Susan Masternak-Bourque (Ryan) of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Rebecca, Jennifer, Dana, and Mitchell. Dear great grandfather of Hudson and Winter. Survived by his 4 sisters: Ginette Richard (Laurie), Josette LeBlanc (Adrice), Georgette Bourque, and Michella Morin (Jean-Eude) all of New Brunswick and by his 6 brothers: Ellis, Remi (Diane), Don (Linda), Larry (Dorothy) all of Ontario, Laurie of Quebec, and Jacques of New Brunswick. Brother-in-law of Carole Bourque and Maxine Bourque. Predeceased by his parents Georges Bourque and Lumina (nee Duguay) and by his 3 brothers Leonide "Leo", Valerie and Reginald.
The family will honour his life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater on Monday January 2nd from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm. Spring interment St. John’s R.C. Cemetery, Waubaushene.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Ed may be made to the R.C.L. Branch #270, Coldwater "Poppy Fund" and may be made through the funeral home.
