Obituary of Robert Harold "Bob" MacKinnon
Passed away peacefully at the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Saturday September 16, 2023, just a month shy of his 99th birthday. Predeceased by his wife Patricia. Loving father of Betsy MacKinnon of Hamilton. Predeceased by his sisters Isabel MacDonald, Mildred MacKinnon, Margaret MacKinnon, and Grace Nicholson and by his brother Donald MacKinnon. Will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Bob will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the Ince family, the Church family, the Curran family, the Vanni family, and the Webb family. Bob was a Veteran of WWII serving as a Flight Sergeant with the R.C.A.F. and was also the last surviving WWII Veteran in Hagersville. Bob has requested cremation and his cremated remains will be taken to his beloved Cape Breton, where he will be interred with his mother. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
