On Saturday September 30, 2023 at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Beth passed away peacefully with family by her side at the age of 79.

Cherished and loved daughter of the late Edwin and Arley Potter.  Sister to the late Corrine Thomson (Ken).

Beloved wife of the late Ray Stanton (2009).  Loving mother of Mindy Stanton (Charlie Watson), and Teanna Short (Ab).  Best nana to Jeanna Smart (Jeff), Justin Beers (Lindsey), Jeremy Beers (Kaite), Julia Beers (Jesse), and Jakab Short.  Great nana to Jaxon Steadman, Karley & Emily Beers, Emmett (predeceased), Mayble & Norman Smart.

Loved sister-in-law of Harvey Stanton (Anna), the late Robert Stanton, the late Ivan Stanton (Dianne), Betty Stevenson (Gord), Ted Stanton (Pat), and Karen Meadley (Rex). 

Beth was loved and will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

Beth has requested cremation and the family will celebrate her life at the Coldwater Legion on Monday October 23rd from 1-3pm.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Beth may be made to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital “Health Records” or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and may be made through the funeral home.
