Obituary of Harold Francis Gill

Passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Village Care Centre, Midland on Wednesday January 24, 2024 in his 94^th year.  Predeceased by his loving wife, Lillian (nee Potter).  Loved father of Larry Gill (Barb, and Breeze), and Bonnie Duffy (John O’Hara).  Loving grandfather of Melissa Oakley, Kelly Gill, Chris Duffy, Jennifer Duffy, and Jackie Duffy. Dear brother of Frank Gill (Debbie), and brother-in-law of Bernice Gill, and Bruce Pipher.  Loving companion of Maryanne Dusome.  Predeceased by his son-in-law Dave Duffy and by his siblings Kathleen Marshall, Billy Gill, Glenda Duncliffe, Gladys Pipher, and Cameron Gill. 

Harold will be lovingly remembered for his wit “Haroldisms”, generous smile, and always willing to lend a helping hand to family, neighbours, friends and local organizations.

Harold’s family will honour his life at the Coldwater Legion on Sunday February 4^th from 1-4pm, with a service at 2pm.  A graveside service for family will be held at the Coldwater Cemetery in the spring.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Harold may be made to the Coldwater Food Bank, Coldwater & District Agricultural Society or the Coldwater Lions Club and may be made through the funeral home.
