Obituary of Joan Lillian Binns
Passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home on Thursday January 25, 2024 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Doug Binns. Loved mother of Laura Camilleri (Mark), and Allison Binns (Mike Bossy). Loving grandmother of Anna Camilleri. Dear sister of Susan Gray. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Douglas Gray. Will be remembered by her nephew Todd (Kelley) and by niece Bev (Bill).
After Joan and Doug built their home and moved into the Coldwater area, Joan quickly fell in love with the area and got involved with the Eady and Coldwater Communities.
The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to Joan & Doug’s neighbours, the Jolliffe’s, the Marchand’s and the Bell’s as well as the Coldwater Lions Club for their care and support shown to Joan & Doug.
The family will honour Joan’s life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home, 22 Sturgeon Bay Road, Coldwater on Thursday February 1st from 1-3pm. The service will be held at Wesley Eady United Church, 708 Moonstone Road, East, Oro-Medonte on Friday February 2nd at 1pm. Spring Interment Coldwater Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Joan may be made to the Wesley Eady United Church “U.C.W.” or to the Coldwater Lions Club and may be made through the funeral home.
