Dear Jim and Family, Deepest sympathies on the passing of a beloved wife and mother, grandmother and friend.
Sue had a genuine love of others and a willingness to share her considerable talents with all . I am particularly grateful for my collection of framed nature photographs that hang in my living room a tribute to her professional skill. Sue was one of a kind and she will be sorely missed. I am lighting a candle in Thanksgiving for our long time friendship and saying a prayer of comfort for your peace in face of this great loss.
Love Joanne

I first met Sue when she was a new bride at her in-laws restaurant The Oaks where I worked. When she joined Fairvalley I discovered that both of us had run a photography business and that she and Jim were neighbours of my cousin Lynn and Art Holden. It seems our lives were interwoven over many years. Sue was an amazing person, kind, funny, talented and loving. She will be greatly missed.

Dear Jim, Bill and Pete: please accept my heartfelt condolences with your unimaginable loss of Sue.
Yes, I was very shocked to read of her passing. I remember Sue so well from our shared times sailing in Georgean Bay, her fun and warm presence while anchored together with the Perry’s after a fantastic sail. These were truly the happiest times in my life Jim:
Bill and Pete cavorting with Brian and Jacintha and amazingly Sue having baked a birthday cake for Brian and transporting it in the dinghy to the island.
I very much admired her strength and insight in so many aspects of life, as well as her sense of humour, her beautiful photographs and her delicious recipes.
I cannot imagine the emptiness you all must feel now but my heart goes out to you! Hugs,
Lidwien (Liddy) Wesselingh

Carm & I are so very sorry to hear of Sue's passing. She was a special person, caring and kind.
We knew Sue and Jim through the Toronto Focal Forum. Sue was a very accomplished photographer and she was often pushing boundaries to give us an inventive way to express her ideas and how she viewed the world.
She will certainly be missed by all at the Forum.
Carm and I send our deepest condolences to Jim and Family
Hold on to all the happy memories to keep her close.
In Sympathy,
Judy & Carm

Dear Jim & family,
I am sending my sincere condolences to you on the loss of your wonderful wife Sue. I really liked her and so enjoyed her sermons. I’m really glad I had the chance to tell her how meaningful I found them. She was always so helpful when it came to the hymns and was so eager to share her sheet music with me. My best memory was the day she was ordained at Christ Church and I looked over at you, Jim, and you were sobbing like a baby. You were so proud of your wife and while watching you it made me get a little teary eyed. Through this most difficult of times let all those good memories help you through. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Sandra Walker
