Our sympathies to your family. I/we have so many fond memories of this jovial larger than life man on Six Mile Lake that knew everyone! A big man in stature, big feet, big hands (although missing some parts) but also a big heart; always happy to see guests and greeted them with a warm smile and a hearty handshake .
Jo and Ann shared their island, sauna, woodshop, dock, deck, cottage, knowledge, the odd opinion, a great story and the a glass brandy/wine to all. He talked so proudly about his family and always remembered ours and asked what they were up to.
A wonderful man whose life touched so many and now he is back with his Ann.
